1960’s Panther Case Restoration Project

Emma Teasdale is the founder of Circular Coast Clothing and the proud owner of a Barrow Hepburn original Panther case from the 1960s. Emma describes her mission as ‘to save textiles from ending up in landfills by influencing and informing businesses and communities through my circular business model’ #WearCareRepair.

Emma uses her case to store fabrics and demonstration pieces for workshops and speaking engagements. It prompts conversations and perfectly demonstrates the longevity of a British made quality item.  She says the case reminds her of an era of class and longevity, items were adored, and it oozes stories of trips and journeys made with her mother who was a MOD.

Emma approached Barrow, Hepburn & Gale as she was looking to restore the case herself and wanted to find out more about its history. Our team decided that this noble cause should be supported and have offered to restore the case for Emma without charge.
