Larry has the rare and singular distinction of being in charge at 10 Downing Street under two monarchs of the United Kingdom. Serving loyally under HM Queen Elizabeth II and continuing to serve at the commencement of the reign of HM King Charles III.

Larry has been custodian at Downing Street during the tenure of four Prime Ministers: David Cameron, Theresa May, Boris Johnson, Liz Truss and currently Rishi Sunak.

In a rare interview, unlikely to be broadcast, Larry meowed movingly of meeting HM The Queen when she visited Downing Street: ‘Always full of kindness and concern, saying that if ever I needed a rest, I was welcome at Balmoral or Sandringham. But, there has been so much for me to do these past few years that has kept me at Number 10’ .

In 2011 after extensive negotiations between Larry’s Private Office and The Oval Office at The White House, Larry consented to a meeting with President Barack Obama.

This limited edition mug is made of Fine English Bone China, made and hand decorated in Longton, Stoke on Trent. It can be hand washed or washed in a dishwasher.
